After School Clubs

H-STEM supports a number of after school clubs in the region.

Activities range from the design and production of small scale projects such as rockets or air powered vehicles through to large scale projects such as the design and build of full size land yachts.

Whether large or small all projects follow the process of identifying a problem, designing a solution, testing and improvement. Basically getting the young people that   attend the clubs thinking like engineers.

Many of the clubs have been running for several years and have had pupils attending them consistently throughout that time, a testament to their popularity.
