F1 in Schools National Final

The NEC, Birmingham saw the national finals for the F1 in Schools competition which formed a part of Autosport International. Over two days of racing and judging the eventual winners were decided.

Whilst Team Pluto weren't quite up to the pace of the top runners, the extra work that they put in during their Christmas holidays paid off and they were just fractions of a second off the pace of the top runners.

The honours of top UK team eventually went to Team Dynamic of  St. John Payne Catholic Comprehensive School.

We look forward to working on the project again next year and hope that we again have a team from the Open Opportunities MPD group as well as working with Sir John Leman on their first year in the project in 2010/11.
