OPITO After School Engineering Clubs

OPITO, The Oil and Gas Academy, have funded H-STEM to support 4 new after school clubs. The clubs will focus on the support of "STEM" subjects through project based activities.

The initial two clubs will be run at Sir John Leman High School and Thorpe St Andrew High School, starting on 24th & 25th February.

The clubs will use systems and control based solutions to solve problems based around industry challenges such as how to build a remotely operated vehicle to analyse the sea bed.

When these two clubs have become established we will be introducing a further two clubs working with feeder schools for Sir John Leman and Thorpe.
