Student Access @HEC every Monday 16:00 - 18:00

Student Access is a new initiative where by students can use the facilities at Hethel Engineering Centre free of charge any Monday afternoon from 16:00 - 18:00.

During these sessions students can:

• Get some extra practice using Solidworks, Circuit Wizard, 2D Design or any other of our software packages.
• Learn how to use 2D or 3D CAD
• Access equipment such as; 2 forms of Rapid Prototyping, Laser Cutting, 3D Routing, PIC Programming.
• Get design advice.

Whether students decide to use the time to work on school projects or coursework or simply for their own interests everyone is welcome.

Attendance is free as is access to any software packages. Materials will need to be charged for at cost for Rapid Prototyping, Laser Cutting etc. however you are welcome to bring suitable materials for routing and laser cutting projects.
